At Friendship Presbyterian Church, our worship draws on traditions both ancient and contemporary, incorporating improvisational music, hymns, original liturgy, and visual arts. We design worship to engage folks of all ages!
At Friendship we believe that God’s love is bigger than the labels and boxes that often define us! You are welcome to join us on our journey with your whole self, so bring your age, your race, your ethnicity, your gender identity, your sexual orientation, your emotional, mental, physical self — all you have, and all you hope for, and we promise that all of you will be welcomed and celebrated as a beloved child of God. We respect and celebrate our differences, delighting in the diversity of expressions, talents and gifts that result in bringing them all together in this place.
We partner with and are members of The NWSide Coalition Against Racism and Hate and Neighbors for Affordable Housing. Outside of the pandemic, we also host music concerts, community conversations, art and storytelling events, and prepare monthly meals for The Night Ministry.
We are a Jesus following, justice-seeking, transforming community, working on intentionally deepening our faith, nurturing our spiritual growth and towards an anti-racist identity as we build relationships with each other, our communities, and God.
